The Fuji Heat P SOLAR FSP-2100 is a vacuum glass tube type (heat pipe type) solar collector that efficiently collects solar thermal energy. It is particularly effective for hot water use, contributing to the reduction of fossil fuel consumption in boilers and similar applications, as well as lowering energy costs and CO2 emissions. The heat absorption section utilizes 16 vacuum double glass tubes. These glass tubes have a double-tube structure consisting of a cylindrical outer tube and an inner tube, with a vacuum between them. Being cylindrical allows for efficient solar energy collection throughout the morning, noon, and evening. Additionally, it captures not only direct sunlight but also diffuse sunlight, resulting in high heat collection efficiency, and provides excellent insulation and heat retention, making it less susceptible to external temperatures. The collected heat is transferred to the water supply pipe at the top of the collector through a heat pipe installed inside the glass tube, without the need to supply water inside the glass tube. This method of collecting heat without supplying water inside the vacuum double glass tube prevents issues such as "thermal shock due to rapid thermal expansion and contraction" that occur in conventional vacuum solar collectors.
