Temposonics sensors are durable absolute linear scales that use magnetostrictive technology, designed to withstand harsh environments such as shock, vibration, and temperature. They offer high precision (0.5μm), robustness (vibration resistance of 30G, waterproof rating of IP68/69K, rod pressure resistance of 80MPa, CE compliance), and stroke lengths ranging from 25mm to 20m, with a variety of interfaces available. They can be used for a wide range of applications, including waterproofing, long-length measurement, simultaneous multi-position measurement, and explosion-proof requirements. Additionally, the pressure-resistant rod can be used directly in a vacuum, and it can accommodate long lengths and curves of up to 20m. Multiple carrier positions can be measured accurately and simultaneously, and since the movable part only uses magnets, there is no need for power or signal cables in the movable section.
