basic information
Based on years of experience and achievements, our company presents a "reliable reduction gear." The reduction gear for pump drives is designed for drainage facilities (pump stations) that play a major role in agricultural water, industrial water, and urban drainage fields, and it must be a product with high reliability. The type of reduction gear is determined by the models of the driven machine (pump) and the driving machine, and our reduction gears are categorized into series up to the 25600PS class pumps, facilitating the selection of reduction gear types, model numbers, sizes, etc., when planning pump drive equipment. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

Single-stage bevel gear reducer | The bevel gears use chromium-molybdenum steel as the material, and after heat treatment, high-precision gears are incorporated with ultra-hard finishing gear cutting, ensuring high efficiency and smooth, quiet operation of the gears. |
Two-stage bevel gear reducer | This is a reducer that combines a single-stage bevel gear and a two-stage helical gear. When the reduction ratio is large, or when the transmitted horsepower is high and it is difficult to obtain a large, high-precision single-stage bevel gear, the single-stage bevel gear reduces the speed ratio, and the two-stage helical gear absorbs the speed ratio. |
Inclined shaft reducer | The inclined shaft reducer is designed for driving screw pumps, using two sets of bevel gears to accommodate the inclined angle of the screw pump. A one-way clutch can be incorporated for reverse prevention. |
Air-cooled reducer | Recently, there has been a trend not to use cooling water. In other words, air-cooled reducers are expected to become mainstream. Our company also incorporates a fan on the high-speed shaft to accommodate air cooling and cools the main case. Additionally, we can insert a radiator into the lubrication oil piping and use a fan for air cooling, selecting based on the transmission capacity. |
Parallel shaft reducer | We standardize single-stage reducers, but we will respond with a two-stage reducer if the speed ratio is large. |
Planetary gear reducer | We have standardized a series with a horizontal axis planetary system. The sun gear and planetary gears use surface-hardened gears (carburized gears) and are finished with high precision through tooth surface grinding. Various considerations have been made to improve load distribution (such as load distribution mechanisms to the planetary gears). We also accommodate special reducers such as star-type and vertical types. |
Compound reducer | For the independent operation of the engine and the no-load start of the engine, it is necessary to have a clutch section, so we also provide reducers equipped with hydraulic multi-plate clutches. |
Other special | We also respond to the design and manufacturing of vertical gas turbine-driven reducers and special specification reducers. |

Established in November 1950, we inherited the business of the former Special Gear Manufacturing Co., which had been active in the industry as a reducer manufacturer since the early Showa period, to manufacture various types of reducers and paddle wheel ash removal devices. Since our establishment, thanks to the support of our customers, our business has steadily developed, completing several capital increases. In May 1973, we built a new factory in Shin-go, Hyogo Prefecture (now Tanba City), enhancing our production system in the reducer division while also developing unique new products in the labor-saving machinery division. In recent years, we have been manufacturing various drive devices for water treatment, aqua aerators, as well as various reducers and small opening and closing devices for gates in rivers and dams, continuing to this day.
