**Main Features** - Creates a fire-resistant insulation layer through unique fireproof processing and high-density construction. - Boric acid, used as an insect and mold repellent, also has fireproof properties; however, Applegate cellulose insulation uses a non-toxic liquid fire retardant patented in the U.S. called PF24 in addition to boric acid. - Fire resistance is significantly enhanced by not only mixing dry boric acid with the material but also by allowing the liquid fire retardant to penetrate the cellulose fibers. - Passes the Class 3 surface fireproof test as specified in JIS A 1321. - The exterior wall is certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as having a fire-resistant structure. - In the event of a fire, it does not emit harmful substances. - "Boric Acid" + "PF24" = Achieves strong fireproof performance. - One-hour fire resistance structure. → Complies with the provisions of Article 68-26, Paragraph 1 of the Building Standards Act (including cases applied under Paragraph 1 of Article 88 of the same Act) and the provisions of Article 2, Item 7-2 of the same Act, as well as Article 115-2, Paragraph 1, Items (i) and (ii) of the Enforcement Order of the same Act (partition walls (load-bearing walls): each 1 hour). ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
