**Camera link cable extendable up to 100m** **Robot cable specification using optical fiber cable**
We have significantly improved the weakness of camera link cables, "transmission distance." With the PoCL standard, transmission is possible up to 100 meters, and with external power supply (depending on camera power consumption), a theoretical transmission distance of 500 meters can be achieved. The optical-electrical conversion unit is built into the connector hood, eliminating the need for repeaters or optical-electrical converters. The cable is a composite of optical fiber and metal wire, making it resistant to external noise and capable of stable image transmission. Additionally, the composite cable is designed for robotic applications, with a bending characteristic of over 10 million times (R = 50mm). The cable is also lightweight, designed to weigh 98g/m. This allows cameras to be placed in locations that were previously restricted due to distance limitations. Fixed-type cable products have also been developed (which will reduce cable costs).

With a pixel clock of 85MHz and PoCL specifications, transmission of up to 100m is possible (however, this may vary depending on the camera's power consumption). The external power supply type allows for a theoretical transmission distance of 500m. Products can be selected from two types: PoCL type and external power supply type. The transfer rate is 2.3GBPS. The connection connector complies with the PoCL standard and is 100% compatible with existing systems in "SDR" and "MDR" shapes. The connector hood contains a photoelectric conversion section, which minimizes the occurrence of skew.
