The Setra Systems Model 522 general-purpose pressure transducer is designed for OEM industrial applications that require excellent stability and high precision. The design of the CVD strain gauge in Model 522 allows for stable use against pressure cycles and thermal effects over long periods. This long-term stability achieves a low drift of less than 0.2% per year, ensuring high reliability for users. All wetted parts are made of 17-4PH stainless steel, making it suitable for compatible gases and liquids. Model 522 has an accuracy of 0.25% FS (optional 0.15% FS) and is designed with a wide temperature compensation range of -20°C to 80°C. It offers three pressure modes: gauge pressure, absolute pressure, and differential pressure. A rich variety of pressure ranges is available, from -100 kPa to 60 MPa. The modular design of Model 522 provides a wide range of voltage and current output signals for nearly all pressure ranges, and electrical connections can be selected according to the application. This Model 522 can be custom configured for the user's OEM applications.

Model 522 is designed with an accuracy of 0.25% FS (optional 0.15% FS) and a wide temperature compensation range of -20°C to 80°C. It can be selected from three pressure modes: gauge pressure, absolute pressure, and differential pressure. A rich variety of pressure ranges is available, from -100 kPa to 60 MPa. The modular design of Model 522 offers a wide range of voltage output signals and current output signals for almost all pressure ranges, and electrical connections can be selected according to the application. This Model 522 can be customized for the user's OEM applications. The combination of the Model 522 housing and the selected electrical connection allows this unit to operate at an environmental protection rating of IP65 or IP67. Designed using the proven principle of the Wheatstone bridge, it accurately and sensitively deposits chemically silicon thin-film strain gauges onto a stainless steel diaphragm. The custom-designed ASIC performs temperature compensation and amplifies the sensor signal. This technology provides user-configurable output and options for pressure ranges. It sets tolerances for zero and span, ensuring compatibility from unit to unit.
