Model 141 is a linear accelerometer that generates a high-level instantaneous DC output proportional to static acceleration up to 3000 Hz. A significant feature of Model 141 is its ability to withstand extremely high overloads. It incorporates a very robust capacitive sensor and ultra-compact electronic circuits. Excellent dynamic response is ensured by air damping, which has only one-tenth the temperature influence of superior liquid damping. The stainless steel case is sealed with an O-ring and has a smooth bottom surface. It is minimally affected by mounting. The interference effects in the cross-axis direction are extremely small. The cable is externally mounted, making installation and maintenance easy.
