The SI-60F is an interface converter that allows FA devices and measuring instruments with only an RS-232C serial communication port to connect to a LAN. It incorporates the Lantronix XPort in the LAN interface section, and its compatibility with 35mm DIN rail mounting and wide operating temperature range makes it suitable for FA applications. By using a D-sub 9-pin connector on the serial side, it is smaller and lighter than its sister model, the "SI-60."
