Rainwater utilization tank storage tank "Plus Pool"

In the fiscal year 2017, our proposed project "Feasibility Study on Plastic Rainwater Storage Structures" targeting Thailand was selected for the "Support Project for Overseas Expansion of Small and Medium Enterprises - Feasibility Study" by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The contract was signed on August 18, 2017. In Thailand, which experiences heavy rainfall, flooding damage occurs frequently, and the lack of sewerage and drainage facilities is a significant issue. The impact of the 2011 Thailand floods on the Japanese supply chain is still fresh in our memories. This study will investigate the actual conditions of flooding damage, rainwater utilization, and ground conditions, primarily in Bangkok, and will examine the feasibility of deploying plastic rainwater storage structures.

We have developed an underground plastic rainwater storage tank called "Plas Pool," which has been on sale since 2012. Being underground, it does not take up space and can be installed in various locations such as residential gardens and small-scale community disaster prevention centers. It also ensures seismic resistance level 2 (equivalent to the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake), allowing for safe use during emergencies. With a large capacity that can support a family of four for one month (calculated based on 40 liters per person per day), it can be used for watering plants and other daily activities to easily conserve water, while also securing valuable domestic water in emergencies.
