This is a rack for installing hydroponic beds in a plant factory. The rust-resistant and sturdy rack is designed to accommodate various operational methods at each site, achieving a high yield.
Rack manufacturer Sanshin Metal Industry has developed a multi-tier rack that is optimal for plant factories. By using cultivation racks to grow plants in a three-dimensional manner, it secures cultivation space even in limited areas and improves the yield per unit area. As a result of reviewing the tier structure to match the height of growing plants, the yield has significantly increased (1.5 times compared to our previous figures). It can also be customized according to the site for multi-layering and operation. Additionally, it enables labor-saving in harvesting operations when combined with automated warehouses. The boltless structure is easy to assemble and offers excellent constructability, making it easy to adjust the tier pitch according to the plants being cultivated and to change the layout according to operational needs.
