In the event that cracks or pinholes occur in the plates, the fluid will flow out through the gap of the pair-plate to the outside of the heat exchanger, preventing the mixing of the two fluids and allowing for safe operation. It can accommodate applications that have traditionally used multi-tube heat exchangers, double circuit intercoolers, and indirect heating coils, and is effective in various processes including the cooling of transformer oil, heating of drinking water, and in the chemical, bioplant, food, and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
