【Features】 ○ Duplex stainless steel is a high-strength, high-corrosion-resistant stainless steel that has a dual-phase structure of austenite and ferrite by adding an appropriate amount of nickel (Ni) to high chromium (Cr). ○ In addition to chromium and nickel, by adding molybdenum (Mo) and nitrogen (N), it offers a wide range of corrosion resistance and price options from general-purpose stainless steel classes to super stainless steel classes. ○ It has nearly twice the strength (0.2% yield strength comparison) of SUS304 and SUS316, allowing for thin and lightweight designs. ○ In addition to good pitting resistance, it excels in stress corrosion cracking resistance compared to general-purpose austenitic steels. ○ Coated arc, TIG, and MIG welding can be performed using common alloy welding materials.
