Compared to site-cast box culverts, significant reductions in construction time are possible. To consistently provide the optimal cross-section for various conditions that differ from site to site, the internal cross-section can be set in 10 cm increments for both width and height, while the thickness of the top and bottom slabs can be set in 1 cm increments (side walls in 5 cm increments).
