The injection temperature of SH-1. High-temperature water injection exceeding 80°C uses heat coils, but this heater has the drawback of unstable injection temperatures. Therefore, at SUMOTO, we have enabled continuous cleaning at a very stable temperature by controlling combustion in two stages: high combustion and low combustion. Even if we boast about high-temperature water in the catalog, unstable injection temperatures do not allow for efficient and uniform cleaning.

Dissolving stubborn dirt with hot water Even at a low water pressure of 5 MPa, hot water dissolves dirt, providing powerful cleaning capabilities. Using hot water at this level of water pressure results in minimal splashing of the sprayed water, allowing the hot water to efficiently penetrate the dirt on the cleaning surface, demonstrating strong cleaning power even at low water pressure. While steam is effective for degreasing cleaning, it has the disadvantage of lacking force due to its gaseous state and significant temperature loss, resulting in a very limited cleaning area. Additionally, it does not have the ability to wash away dissolved dirt like hot water does.

Removing stubborn stains with high-temperature water. This shows the high-temperature water cleaning of the outer panel of our cleaning machine, which has been used for nearly 30 years. Stains like these, which contain grease, cannot be removed by scrubbing with a wire brush, but with the high-temperature water cleaning of this machine, they were almost instantly removed. Instead of relying on force, it breaks down grease stains with temperature, cleaning effectively with the minimum necessary amount of water and pressure. Due to the high water temperature, it dries immediately after cleaning.

High-Temperature Water Cleaning with Rotary Nozzle The maximum spray temperature with the rotary jet nozzle is up to 80°C, but it can be used with this machine for a short period of time. Since it sprays in a straight line, there is less temperature loss after spraying, and the impact force increases, making it effective for degreasing cleaning as well. Additionally, by using a larger nozzle, the spray temperature decreases to 80°C, but it still maintains a very stable temperature and, with the advantages of a straight jet nozzle, demonstrates more than sufficient cleaning capability for a 100V cleaning machine.

Removal of Moss and Mold Moss and mold that have adhered to concrete and stone can be difficult to remove even with scrubbing using brushes or wire brushes, but they can be easily removed with high-pressure washing. You can also use small hobby cleaning machines sold at home improvement stores, but if they use hot water, they can remove the moss and mold even when the nozzle is held further away from the surface. Especially on surfaces with many irregularities, hot water with low surface tension can clean the concave areas thoroughly.

Since the development of Japan's first steam cleaner in 1952, we have not viewed cleaning machines merely as tools for cleaning, but as partners in improving the global environment. We have thoroughly pursued not only performance aspects such as performance, functionality, and durability, but also the development and production of cleaning machines powered by clean energy, as well as pollution-free and recyclable processes from production to disposal. Through this pioneering spirit and accumulation of technology, we have achieved an exhaust emission value that is nearly zero, despite using kerosene in our Narutotype. Furthermore, we have developed environmentally friendly hot water cleaning machines such as the "Yusen," a clean, safe, and quiet high-pressure hot water cleaner powered by nighttime electricity with zero NOx emissions, and the gas-powered high-pressure hot water cleaner "Gas Wash."
