The hot spring heat exchange method (using heat pipes) for snow melting facilities heats one end of the heat pipe buried in the road surface with hot spring discharge water to facilitate snow melting and prevent freezing. There are two methods for heating the heat pipes: the ditch type and the header pipe type. In the ditch type, heat pipes are placed at the bottom of the ditch for heat exchange, while in the header pipe type, hot spring discharge water flows through a header pipe into which the heat pipes are inserted for heat exchange.
