It is unaffected by measurement under high temperature and high pressure conditions. It has no moving parts and performs non-contact measurements.
VEGA's radiation-based level and density meters use radiation for non-contact level and density measurement. Sales began in 1950, with over 50,000 units delivered. They are used in the oil, petrochemical, paper, steel, pharmaceutical, and mining industries. There are over 300 units in domestic use. Applications include level measurement for CCR platforms, heavy desulfurization cracking units, polymer production, and digester vessels, as well as density measurement for slurries and black liquor.
