basic information
This barcode scanner can connect to a wireless LAN on its own, and it also connects wirelessly to an iPhone/iPod touch. Therefore, there is no need for cables or cords to connect devices, freeing you from the wiring and equipment placement issues that can be a headache in wired systems, and you don't have to worry about managing cables during use. With wireless capability, you can easily carry out tasks like inventory checks and stock confirmations with just the barcode scanner. Additionally, access to the database (server) is done wirelessly from the iPhone/iPod touch (via 3G or wireless LAN), so a PC for aggregation and database access is not necessary.
