The hardness value is calculated based on the voltage ratio of the signal generated before the impact body hits the sample and the signal generated when it bounces back after hitting the sample. The DynaMIC DL is equipped with a patented automatic impact direction correction function, which automatically corrects the measurement angle. ◆ Usability With the adoption of the automatic impact direction correction function, there is no need to input the impact angle before starting the measurement with the DynaMIC DL, and changing the measurement direction does not affect measurement accuracy. The DynaMIC DL can also be easily calibrated when measuring materials other than low alloy and non-alloy steel. Calibration involves selecting a suitable material from nine different material groups for the measurement target. The display of measurement values allows for switching between average values and single measurement values with the press of a button. Additionally, it is possible to set measurement thresholds (upper and lower limits), and if the measurement value exceeds this range, a warning sound and screen display will notify that the measurement range has been exceeded.
