Hot gas ("Commercialization of eco-friendly isothermal heat treatment furnace utilizing clean hot gas") is a project that supports new businesses leading the Ehime industry in the 21st century, under the Ehime Prefecture Future-Oriented Knowledge Industry Creation Support Project (Active Venture Support Project) established in 2004. Traditional heat treatment conducted in salt bath furnaces faces issues such as the industrial waste problem of discarded salt, neutralization treatment of washing water, and working environment concerns (volatilization of molten salt into the air, high temperatures). By transitioning from environmentally burdensome salt bath furnaces (salt furnaces) to newly developed hot gas furnaces, eco-friendly manufacturing can be achieved.
