Additionally, since transmission does not use electricity, it does not affect nearby devices that are susceptible to electromagnetic interference. The VAD-SD001E.L1.xxx transmits a single channel of 10/100M Ethernet over single-mode optical fiber up to 20 km and over multi-mode optical fiber up to 2 km, making it effective for LAN connections to remote locations. It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, making it suitable for operation in harsh environments.
