Organic Biodegradation: The bacteria inside the oil sponge break down the absorbed oil into water and carbon dioxide. The oil is decomposed in approximately 2 weeks to 3 months. 3. Disposal: Since the raw materials of the oil sponge are natural, they decompose naturally like fallen leaves and ultimately return to the soil. (Note) It is not possible to dispose of oil sponges that have absorbed a large amount of oil with regular waste. 4. Safety: Only safe bacteria recognized by the authoritative American organization ATTC are used.
