1. Adsorption: Made from regenerated cotton and plant-based pecan with excellent adsorption power, it captures oil completely. The absorbed oils do not re-dissolve even when wet with rain or water due to the unique structure of the oil sponge. 2. Organic Biodegradation: The bacteria inside the oil sponge break down the absorbed oil into water and carbon dioxide. The oil is decomposed in approximately 2 weeks to 3 months. 3. Disposal: Since the raw materials of the oil sponge are natural, they decompose naturally like fallen leaves and ultimately return to the soil. (Note) It is not possible to dispose of oil sponges that have absorbed a large amount of oil with regular waste. 4. Safety: Only safe bacteria recognized by the authoritative American organization ATTC are used. We use those classified as Bio-Safety Level 1 (*a) by the Japan National Institute of Infectious Diseases, which evaluates the impact on human health and the environment, so you can use it with peace of mind.
