Design calculations for the Easy Slab Ramen Bridge Version 2 bridge collapse prevention system.
Overview design program for Easy Slab Ramen Bridge and a bridge collapse prevention system that corresponds to checks for girder span length, edge widening, collapse prevention structure, and displacement limiting structure.
The design version 2 of the Easy Slab Ramen Bridge was developed by Asahi Enden Engineering Co., Ltd. through collaborative research with Kanazawa University (Kajikawa and Fukada Laboratory), including safety verification experiments, and was commercialized through joint development with our company. The design calculations for the anti-fall prevention system correspond to the verification of "girder overhang length," "edge widening (reinforced concrete, steel brackets)," "anti-fall prevention structure (anti-fall prevention wall)," and "displacement restriction structure (displacement restriction wall, anchor bar)."

Forum Eight's corporate philosophy includes "social responsibility," "advancement," and "cooperation." These are themes we have consistently practiced. Our company has been actively providing software that broadly supports civil engineering design under the banner of "Development Room for Designers." Through the provision of CAD software for structural design and software for seismic design and analysis, we have supported engineers who are building the foundation of infrastructure. We believe that these software tools contribute to society both directly and indirectly. As the IT revolution progresses, we aim to develop more advanced software, including virtual reality (VR) software and three-dimensional nonlinear analysis software. We have proposed these as practical application technologies and have also created new business opportunities. VR technology is also being utilized as a simulator for the automotive industry. In addition to structural analysis, we have started providing even more advanced solutions through collaboration with internationally top-level applications in traffic analysis and evacuation analysis. We believe that our role in terms of safety and the environment is becoming increasingly significant. These advanced software solutions are expanding their presence dramatically overseas. Our company has many foreign employees who are making significant contributions to our international expansion. Cooperation is an important principle for our cross-border development. We will continue to demonstrate the spirit of Forum, cultivated over the years, both domestically and internationally, and energetically advance our business development to even higher levels. The excellent staff leading this effort is the pride of Forum Eight.
