The AEM213-D is a portable electromagnetic induction type flow direction and velocity meter that can measure not only in oceans but also in rivers, canals, and lakes. It has been fully improved from the compass-equipped model ACM210-D and has successfully been miniaturized. It comes standard with a depth sensor and a water temperature sensor, allowing for confirmation of the measurement depth and can also be used for measuring the vertical profile of water temperature. Additionally, the display unit is equipped with a 2MB flash memory calendar function, enabling automatic recording of measurement data while continuing accurate measurements.
