HD-001 is a soil moisture meter that uses a measurement method called the tension meter method. A porous ceramic cup is buried in the soil, and when the surrounding soil dries out, water from inside the container is drawn out through the porous cup, creating a negative pressure inside the container. This negative pressure (suction pressure) is used to determine the soil moisture content. - The sensor part is highly accurate and environmentally friendly. - Each component can be detached (air tank part, pressure sensor part, PC pipe part, porous cup part). - It can be observed for a long time without water replenishment. - Pipe length can be specified and extended.
