In conventional air-type balancers, both the control of the balancer and the drive of the arm have been carried out entirely through air circuits and air cylinders. However, the hybrid balancer integrates the control unit with a combination of air circuits and an electronic control circuit using a microcontroller, forming a mixed circuit (hybrid). It is equipped with a control circuit that leverages the characteristics of both the air circuit and the electronic control circuit. By hybridizing the control circuit of the balancer, the hybrid balancer achieves advanced performance improvements in various aspects such as enhanced functionality, higher performance, increased safety, and energy savings, which were not possible with conventional air-type balancers.
