We propose a multi-layered plant factory that incorporates innovative ideas for the stable supply of vegetables and ensuring food safety and security.

Multi-tier artificial light plant production system. This is a controlled plant factory that utilizes indoor space in a three-dimensional manner by adopting multi-tier units according to ceiling height. We propose cultivation using artificial light and circulating nutrient solutions. This is a proposal for an expanded plant factory with 2 to 4 times the production capacity of the basic "plant factory" unit. The design considers the expansion of the basic "plant factory" units for cultivation and seedling units, allowing for a doubling of hydroponically grown vegetable production.
