For about 40 years, while being involved in the maintenance of overhead cranes, I have continuously thought, "If only there were a radio designed specifically for overhead cranes..." This idea took shape in 2005 through a partnership with an overseas radio manufacturer. For use at distances of about 20 to 30 meters from the crane operator (transmitter) to the hoist body (receiver), a low-cost weak radio wave model is recommended.
