The water quality inspection department primarily focuses on water quality testing and surveys of tap water, raw water, wastewater from business establishments, effluent from septic tanks, river water, seawater, as well as water from lakes and dam reservoirs.
In industrial wastewater, we conduct water quality tests related to the Water Pollution Control Act; for river water and seawater, we perform water quality tests related to environmental standards; and for lakes and dam reservoirs, we carry out investigations on cold water, turbid water, and eutrophication, among others. In addition to these, we also conduct analyses and surveys of sediments, soil, and plants to understand the environmental impact of various pollutants, as well as tests for residual pesticides in the effluent from golf courses.
