Company information
"Kurapia" is the only registered variety of ground cover plant in Japan, developed over more than ten years by the late Hitoshi Kuramochi, a lecturer at Utsunomiya University and a leading figure in Japanese weed research, using the native Okinawan plant, Iwadare-sou, as the original species, based on the concept of "controlling grass with grass." Our company, Green Produce Co., Ltd., further evolved and advanced the research and development of "Kurapia," commercializing it in 2006. We began production through managed farms and started selling it nationwide. To leave a beautiful, green-filled society for future generations and contribute to the creation of a sustainable society, we will continue to engage in research and development of new greening technologies utilizing "Kurapia" and strive for further improvements in quality.
