The "powdered rust preventive agent" contained in Underfix adsorbs and neutralizes substances that promote corrosion. ■Effects of the powdered rust preventive agent blended in Underfix Underfix uses a powdered nitrite-based rust preventive agent that can be mixed with cement and other materials. It carries a large amount of nitrite ions within and around the layered structure of calcium-aluminum composite hydroxides.
