"Galva Shield DAS" is a sacrificial anode material that offers higher corrosion resistance and durability than conventional Galva Shield, with expected corrosion protection effects at the level of cathodic protection. The long-term corrosion performance of sacrificial anode materials is influenced not only by the amount of zinc but also by the quality of the backfill material (zinc accelerators) in relation to the rebar (free of chlorides and bromides), which plays a very important role. Additionally, its high corrosion resistance allows for application in structures subjected to harsh environments such as splash zones and tidal zones.
