A survey method developed to conduct only accurate construction work - Structural Survey.
The issues with the building, referred to as the "biggest problem," become unclear due to the evaluation points. This can lead to situations where construction is carried out to raise evaluation points even in areas that do not need to be publicly announced. Therefore, the Earthquake Research Institute has developed a survey method called structural investigation to clearly identify the "problems" and narrow down the construction, thereby reducing construction costs and ensuring that only necessary work is performed. 【Features】 - Conducts ground investigations such as differential settlement, ground subsidence, and ground loosening. - Investigates foundation shape, cracks, openings, number of anchor bolts, etc. - Assesses horizontal rigidity, including the rigidity of the first-floor ceiling and second-floor underfloor. - Investigates the transmission of forces from upper and lower floors, the strength of joints, wall quantity, wall arrangement balance, decay, and termite damage, including the vertical ratio of shear walls. ● For other functions and details, please contact us.

Company information
It is clear that the number of new housing starts will decrease in the future, considering the current number of residential units nationwide and the birth rate of children. Therefore, reinforcing existing housing will play an important role moving forward. This reinforcement will not only focus on improving seismic performance but also on restoring the inherent durability of the buildings. The seismic research method (ML method) has been developed with consideration for the future trends of Japanese society, focusing not only on seismic performance but also on durability, through repeated research and experimentation. Additionally, we refer to renovations that emphasize the reinforcement of structural components, including measures against the deterioration of wooden buildings and improvements in seismic performance, as "structural renovations." A time will come when the importance of structural repairs and renovations will be highlighted. We aim to promote these "structural renovations" and the "ML method" to the general public and to foster technicians skilled in the repair of wooden buildings.
