In the construction industry, approximately 40% of fatal accidents are due to falls, with about 20% of these fatalities resulting from falls from scaffolding, making it the highest percentage. Notably, many of these incidents occur during the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding. As an effective measure to prevent falls from scaffolding and similar accidents, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare established guidelines for the handrail-first method in April 2003, and the promotion and establishment of this method is desired to prevent occupational accidents. The "Alumi Sky Guard," handled by Japan Kasei, adopts the handrail-first method for handrail installation, allowing it to be directly attached to the frame scaffolding. Since the handrail frame is always present during assembly and disassembly, it can significantly contribute to preventing fall-related occupational accidents. Additionally, by using it in conjunction with the "V Guard" toe board for frame scaffolding, it achieves a "scaffolding that is easy to work with and provides a sense of security"!
