It prevents derailment as the wheel tends to move towards the apex of the rail. ■U-groove wheel The wheel has protrusions on both edges, which grip the rail like a U shape. It does not derail even when swaying left and right. ■Flanged groove wheel Like railway vehicles, the wheel has protrusions on the edge to prevent derailment. Using just one can lead to derailment, but using two offset wheels on either side prevents it.
