J.C.D.B. is the largest chemical database company in Japan. First, I would like to briefly explain how it came into existence. In 1984, the "Chemical Industry Information Research Group," composed of the former Ministry of International Trade and Industry, the former Japan Development Bank, and volunteers from comprehensive chemical companies, was established to discuss the construction of a database centered on chemical products. Based on that, in July 1988, "Chemical Data Services Co., Ltd." was established with investments and participation from 144 chemical companies, the former Development Bank, three city banks, and the Chemical Industry Daily News. Over the years, we have jointly built Japan's largest chemical database with the government and the industrial sector. Subsequently, in February 1996, Internet Atlas Co., Ltd. inherited the content of the chemical database and has been focusing on the development of databases and new products that meet customer needs while continuing daily maintenance and building a new system environment on top of that. We are committed to providing stable chemical data to respond to the globalization of the industrial sector and to establish "safety," "security," and "trust" for both the industry and consumers, as well as to ensure a speedy response.
