In Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture, it is currently operational as the city's tide level information. Additionally, there are installation records at locations such as the Tarō New Port in Miyako City and the Hiratsuka Comprehensive Experimental Tower. There are also observational records of tsunami data from events like the Tokachi-Oki Earthquake in September 2003. There are installation records for long-period wave observations at the port as well. Furthermore, there are numerous achievements, including short-term installations.
