The "HD type" is a dual-suction volute pump that operates efficiently over a wide range of pumping volumes, has a low NPSHR, and can maintain stable operation up to high head usage ranges. The casing is designed with a horizontal split at the top and bottom, allowing for internal inspection of the pump by simply removing the upper cover without disassembling the piping or bearings.
