Soft Starter α-Beat (Starting Device for Three-Phase Induction Motors)
ACS?LFS series, LES series
Gradually start the machine, energy-saving effect. Soft starter.
■Soft Start / Soft Stop The machine starts up slowly and stops slowly. It prevents load collapse on the conveyor belt and water hammer phenomena. ■Frequent On/Off OK It is shockless, so you can restart with peace of mind. ■Energy Saving Frequent stops when not needed are the best way to save energy. The machine will not break even if restarted. ■No Heat Generation Once the startup is complete, it bypasses to commercial power. Cooling fans inside the panel are unnecessary. ■No Harmonics No measures like those for inverters are needed. Economical. ■Guaranteed Start Regardless of whether the load is heavy or light, it will definitely start moving eventually. ■Gentle on Power Supply There is no large inrush current. ■Compact and Lightweight Easy to handle. ■Comprehensive Support System You can directly contact the manufacturer if you have any issues.

basic information
Troubles with machinery, solved gently! Soft starter "α-Beat" During startup, machines can be damaged due to shock. This is because the starting torque is too high. α-Beat starts gently and slowly from the optimal torque for that machine. If the machine doesn't break, frequent on-off cycles are possible. Let's save energy by turning off the electricity when not in use.

Applications/Examples of results
It is used for transporting stones with a belt conveyor. Until now, it started directly, which caused the belt and chain to break immediately due to the shock at startup. Additionally, since the conveyor is inclined, when it started with stones loaded during rain, the sudden acceleration caused only the belt to move while the stones slipped back. This issue has been resolved by using α-Beat, allowing the belt to start slowly, eliminating shock, extending its lifespan, and preventing slippage, thus improving transportation efficiency. Furthermore, since the machine does not break, frequent ON-OFF operations are possible. When not in use, the electricity can be turned off, contributing to energy savings.

Company information
We are the only manufacturer in Japan specializing in starters, researching, developing, and producing soft starters, proposing solutions to various troubles that occur when starting stopped motors and machines by reviewing the starting methods. To prevent voltage effects on the power supply side, to reduce the capacity of private power generation systems, to prevent damage due to starting stress on the machine side, to avoid starting delays caused by insufficient torque, and as a means of energy saving through frequent repeated starts, we have prepared models suitable for each situation. Furthermore, even in situations where it is difficult to find a solution with the current product lineup, we aim to solve problems by developing and designing the most suitable starter for each specific characteristic through engineering work. Please feel free to consult us; we will not only sell starters but also propose the best methods.
