A new "BI-LOBE" series has been added by the American company OMNETICS, which is renowned for its ultra-miniature connectors. The number of pins ranges from 9 to 65. Due to the offset arrangement of the two rows of contacts, the size of the metal housing is approximately 27mm x 3.2mm for the 65-pin version, making it an ultra-compact design despite having many pins. The allowable current is large at 1A per pin (Max.), and the contact resistance is also low at 25mΩ (utilizing flex pin technology). Connection methods include cable attachment, surface mount, flexible circuit board connection, and more, offering a wide variety. The performance meets MIL-DTL-32139 standards, and the low outgassing characteristics comply with NASA standard SP-R0022.
