(Free) Instron WEB Seminar Series: Do you know the term component testing? ~ With Instron, you can test even large finished parts.
インストロンジャパンカンパニイリミテッド 日本支社
**Presenter:** Shimpei Yamashita, Instron Japan, Materials Testing Division
**Seminar Summary:**
When we think of a "three-point bending test," we typically imagine a test where a static compressive load is applied. By placing a specimen in a bending fixture and dropping a tap (impact rod) from a certain height to apply an impact, we can conduct a dynamic bending impact test. Furthermore, these tests can be performed not only on thin sheets and dumbbell specimens but also on components (finished parts), allowing for tests that are more representative of actual usage conditions. This seminar will introduce the "three-point bending" and "component" impact tests.
**Target Audience for the Seminar:**
- Those considering testing not only thin sheets and dumbbell specimens but also large finished parts.
- Individuals who are hearing the term "three-point bending impact test" for the first time.
- Those who want to safely conduct impact tests on large specimens and observe the impact behavior.
- Customers considering the Instron 9400 series and Bluehill Impact software.
