Updating aging wooden benches with forest environment transfer tax. Izumi Nature Park (Chiba Prefecture)

The feature for February is "Forest Environment Transfer Tax."
The Forest Environment Transfer Tax began in the first year of the Reiwa era. It is distributed to each municipality at a certain rate, and in cities and towns, it is intended to be used for "costs related to forest maintenance and its promotion," such as thinning, human resource development, securing successors, and promoting and raising awareness of wood utilization.
At Zaiensu, we are proposing the use of the Forest Environment Transfer Tax in the field of exterior design as part of promoting the utilization of forest timber.
This time, we would like to introduce the case of "Izumi Nature Park," which utilized the Forest Environment Transfer Tax to develop wooden facilities made from timber sourced from Chiba Prefecture.

The maintenance of this park has utilized the forest environment transfer tax, and wooden facilities made from Chiba Prefecture timber have been introduced. Our company has supplied 7 outdoor tables and 22 benches made from Chiba Prefecture timber, and has replaced the floorboards of the wooden bridge.
