A twin-screw extruder used to enhance the added value of plastic raw materials is referred to as a compounding extruder. The blending of old paper and plastics is one of the technologies that should be established urgently from an environmental protection perspective. In the recycling of old paper using an extruder, the various forms of old paper and their low bulk density lead to poor feedability into the extruder. Additionally, since paper is fibrous, it tends to tangle easily, making it a significant challenge to evenly disperse it into the molten plastics.
