Rust Prevention Talk" Episode 5: "Rust Countermeasures

There are various combinations of causes for rust formation, and accordingly, there are various means to prevent it. Broadly speaking, these can be divided into preventive measures and remedial measures.
The former involves taking countermeasures before "rust" occurs, which is included in the initial cost. The latter involves taking countermeasures after "rust" has occurred, which is included in the running cost.
When showing rust prevention methods by principle, it looks like the diagram on the right.
The initial A to C refer to natural environments, while D represents contact with artificial environments or aqueous solutions.
