Approaches to Quality Control/Improvement and Productivity Improvement in Chinese Factories

**Instructor's Remarks**
Many Japanese-affiliated factories in China are facing ongoing quality issues, or although the quality has reached a certain level, a culture of improvement has not taken root. When visiting factories in China, one notices various problems, but the factors behind them are not immediately clear. This is due to unique factors in China that differ from Japan. In this seminar, we will address issues that occur in any Chinese factory from the perspective of 3M, considering their causes and how to respond. Additionally, we will promote an understanding of the Chinese context while explaining the concepts and methods of quality management in our own factories, as well as the key points for quality guidance and selection of suppliers. For factories struggling with production efficiency, we will introduce how to advance productivity improvement in Chinese factories, along with our recommended specific approaches and case studies. Participants will learn about production innovation in Chinese factories in just one day.
