Even if you lay old wood flooring or renovate to improve the indoor atmosphere, you might have given up on the windows, thinking they can't be changed... This paint imported from Germany. In Europe, it is famous for its use on wrought iron gates and other original decorative elements known as "rotten iron," but this paint was originally designed for repairing such wrought iron. What I personally want you to focus on is the wood grain in this cross-section. It's a small detail, but when you look at the dense wood grain pattern depicted within just 1.5cm of thickness, you can't help but be impressed by how, despite its light appearance, it is made of solid hardwood. To maintain sharpness, the beveling of the corners is kept to a minimum. Only the inner part of the arm where the paper core touches is made larger for easier rotation, and each small part is finished by hand. For the finish, we adopted a hybrid paint that mixes natural plant oil with urethane, aiming to achieve both beauty and practicality by combining the moist feel of an oil finish with the durability of urethane coating. The goal this time was to create a kitchen that enhances the cooking scene during ON time and blends into the room's interior during OFF time. Thus, with a focus on "ease of use," "light presence," and "affordable price range," we have created the "White Minimal Kitchen." The proportions give the impression of a box floating lightly, avoiding a sense of oppression, and the open space at the bottom makes the area appear larger. The material used is a 1mm thick stainless steel (SUS304) sheet. This kitchen is shaped by bending and welding this material. By using only one type of material, we prevent the complexity of procurement and waste of inventory, which helps keep costs down. Additionally, if you look at the sink, three sides are made of bent stainless steel, but the two sides (the left and right sides facing the front) are welded. Here, the corners are not curved but at a 90-degree angle, which can cause some accumulation of waste. The "Shanghai Blue" comes in two new sizes in addition to the reclaimed wood. The three types of reclaimed wood are made by slicing antique bricks, so there is some variation in the condition of the tiles. They may be irregularly shaped, have cracks or chips, have white mortar remaining on the surface, or appear soot-stained and darkened. However, this variation is the charm of these brick tiles. Shelf brackets, when you look for them, don't have that many varieties that you would like. I prefer something simple, but when it comes to something a little different, there really isn't much. However, since they exist as part of the interior, I would like to have shelf brackets that reflect a certain level of detail. This is the completed shelf bracket that embodies that thought. It is made by bending iron wire into a ring shape, and as a single form, it is so delicate and pure that it even evokes a sense of beauty. The curves at the bent corners, created by applying force, convey the flexibility of the iron. Its simplicity draws me to a form that seems to betray the essential shape of "support." ★ Attention to Detail This shelf bracket is made by Kōta Aoyama. The warm, matte black finish of the iron reveals the craftsmanship of the artisan who meticulously works on it.
