Daishowa Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President: Ryosuke Saito, hereinafter referred to as Daishowa Paper) held a ceremony on August 8, 2018, to challenge the Guinness World Record (TM) with its world’s highest quality tissue, "Juni Hitoe Tissue," which was launched on March 10, 2014, and was certified as the "Most Expensive Box of Facial Tissues" by Guinness World Records (TM).

The "Juni Hitoe Tissue," which features twelve traditional Japanese colors such as cherry blossom, scarlet, suoh, tachibana, rapeseed, young green, seedling color, evergreen, forget-me-not, lapis lazuli, bellflower, and wisteria, was launched at a price of 10,000 yen per box on March 10, 2014. It is elegantly packaged in a special box and is the only tissue in Japan that can express such vibrant colors, with a fine texture that is soft and of high quality. This tissue was officially recognized today, August 8, 2018, by a Guinness World Records (TM) official as the "Most Expensive Box of Facial Tissues."
