Due to its robust structure, there is no need for clamps, fixtures, or welding with tubes. In biopharmaceutical manufacturing, it can be used with the quality expected from the single-use connection technology industry by accommodating interchangeable 3/4 inch and 1 inch flow applications in large-scale bioprocess manufacturing. The structure allows for connection without distinguishing between male and female, resolving issues where handheld bags cannot connect due to both being male. Since there is no distinction between male and female, connections can be made without needing bags with male parts and bags with female parts. A double click sound is always produced during connection to indicate completion.
