December 19, 2012: Started selling the radiation dose monitor 'SV-2000 Decontamination Model'

Iwatou Keisoku Co., Ltd. has announced a new product for radiation dose monitoring, the "SV-2000 Decontamination Model." This device was showcased as a reference exhibit at the "International Exhibition on Environmental Radioactivity Decontamination and Waste Management" RADIEX2012, held at the Science and Technology Museum at the end of September 2012, where it received positive feedback, prompting its release. The launch date is December 19, 2012, with a price of 99,800 yen (tax included 104,790 yen). Iwatou Keisoku expects to sell 2,000 units of the SV-2000 Decontamination Model to government agencies, corporations, and local governments over the next year. Last November, Iwatou Keisoku released the SV-1000/SV-2000 as the SV series, which was well-received for its "easy-to-read display that allows users to interpret radiation levels without requiring specialized knowledge." This model inherits that functionality. (Display based on a patent from the Independent Administrative Institution Japan Atomic Energy Agency)
