The E3 Anomaly Synthetic Generator is a Windows software that creates pairs of defective (NG) images synthesized from good images and texture images, along with ground truth masks that indicate the location of defects at the pixel level. It addresses challenges in preparing data for inspection AI, such as having no defective products before mass production, a bias in the types of defects that occur, and the difficulty of manually painting ground truth masks—by allowing users to specify the type and size of defects they want to verify and synthesize them. Except for the defects and their surroundings, the original image matches at the pixel level, and the same image can be regenerated by specifying a seed. It can be used independently as well as for data preparation with our E3 ENGINE. It does not perform quality judgment. A 14-day free trial version is available.
